Chantel was truly one of a kind & will be much missed by everyone who knew & loved her! 💔 I have many happy memories of time spent with beautiful, uber-talented, funny, bubbly & caring Chan over the past 7 since I first met her with Manchester Show Choir, memories that I will hold onto for a long time.
I’ll never forget her big smile, infectious laugh & how she would light up a room. The loving way she looked at & talked about her wife Genna, & also the sheer joy she would show whenever she saw me & our other friends. She was never backward at showing how much she loved those who mattered to her & also how much she loved life & performing, sharing her talents with others & passing all she knew onto others. I don’t think anyone has ever hugged me as much on a night out as she did. She made you feel positively special & loved all the time, as well as wearing her heart on her sleeve & being brave enough to be open & share her vulnerability during her dark times. That is a special gift that not many people have 💓
I was so happy when Chan & Gen first got together, when they chose each other to be their family & when they got married last year. They were each other’s life & I feel privileged to have spent time with them as a couple & to see their love for each other shine so strongly 💞
I hope happy memories can help Genna, the rest of her family & all who loved Chan, get through the hardest times & that all Chan’s friends & family can be there for & help each other through 💖🤗
